Before joining DistanceLearningCentre.com I was working as a Bar Manager, feeling unfulfilled and bored. I have a young family and my partner works full-time so I knew I could never attend full or part time college.

When I heard about DistanceLearningCentre.com I felt like my prayers were answered! Becoming a Midwife has always been my dream and now I feel one step closer to that goal. I found this course, easy to follow and the tutors so supportive and easy to contact. Thank you DistanceLearningCentre.com!

DistanceLearningCentre.com changed my life for the better. My local college offered the access course however I would have had to stop working and would need child care for my child. However I found DistanceLearningCentre.com who allowed me to study around work and family life. As well as offering the distance learning course they even have more reasonable prices and offer payment plans to suit the learner.

I would highly recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com to anyone wishing to study and achieve the best. The tutors are great and no question is ever a problem and the rest of the staff are very helpful too. Applying to university is made so simple as the tutors and staff help you throughout the process. Due to DistanceLearningCentre.com I will be studying a degree at university in Child Nursing and Social Work and achieving my long lived dream.

When I enrolled in November 2009, I was certain I would complete the course within six months. I had just given birth to my first son. I soon realised this was not realistic as having a baby was demanding as well. Studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com gave me the flexibility to study at my own pace. I welcomed the option to go on hold and then resume my studies at a later date in the months leading up to the birth of my second son. At times I felt like giving up but the flexibility of studying through DistanceLearningCentre.com and the ability to take breaks from studying kept me going.

Through all this I had amazing support form DistanceLearningCentre.com and a tutor on hand. I had three tutors in all and I almost always got an immediate response. Many times I was frustrated as I felt my progress was slow but with a tutor supporting me and setting deadlines which fitted my rate of progress, I was able to complete my course.

I highly recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com. The forums are a good source of information and many times I found an answer from other students before even emailing my tutor. The course materials are written in plain English making for easy understanding. A big thank you to my tutors who have been a pillar of support; despite how blank my mind got, they always had a way make things clear to me.

Anyone out there who has a dream of studying, do not let anything stop you, just keep trying and eventually you will get what you want. DistanceLearningCentre.com is the answer if you have other commitments. Completing the Access Course has opened doors to a whole new world for me as I have been accepted by Middlesex University to study towards a BA degree in Social Work. The knowledge I attained throughout my Access Course was invaluable when I was interviewed. I was prepared for every question asked because the Access Course covered a wide range of social issues. DistanceLearningCentre.com is the best!

Studying Access to Midwifery with DistanceLearningCentre.com has been really hard work but so interesting and rewarding, especially as I left school nearly 30 years ago without A levels. My confidence in my abilities has gone through the roof and I would never even have applied or been successful for the Midwifery course at my first choice Uni if it hadn't been for this course and the invaluable support and encouragement of the DistanceLearningCentre.com tutors. I can honestly say that the DistanceLearningCentre.com way of learning is brilliant and it fits in around all your other commitments, so long as you are prepared to put the effort in.

If I had to give one tip, it would be to plan your time and stick to it, otherwise you can lose momentum and then motivation; but if that does happen there are always other students on the forum who will give you advice and a kick if you need it. I decided at the beginning to do a little every day without fail, even if it was only to read a page of course work or jot down a paragraph. It worked for me!

Thank you DistanceLearningCentre.com for helping me to take a big leap forward to my dream career!

From when I was young I always wanted to be a Physiotherapist, the profession always fascinated me; however throughout my life I was always put down and discouraged by the everyone around me - be it teachers, family or even friends, I was always told I would `never` make it as a Physiotherapist as I wasn't smart enough and the Physiotherapy course is to competitive for `average` students like myself.

Throughout college I believed everything that was said to me until one day, when one of the teachers said to me - "You will never amount to anything in life, and will be forever lower class". This was the pinnacle changing point in my life; where I said to myself - "I need to follow my dreams and make something of my life, and prove everyone wrong" - So, I quit college, went out and qualified as a Level 4 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist and then researched all different ways of entering the Physiotherapy profession which eventually led me to DistanceLearningCentre.com.

DistanceLearningCentre.com was fantastic, after patrolling the forums for information, I signed up for the Physiotherapy Pathway where I choose to study Biological Health & Disease, Physics and Biology. I learnt more about English, Maths and Science in 1 year with DistanceLearningCentre.com then I did in the whole of my 7 years of compulsory education. The tutors are phenomenal, patient and very understanding and the course structure is presented in such a way, everyone can understand it and most importantly learn from it.

Currently, I have an unconditional offer for East London University to study their BSc in Physiotherapy; and I am currently studying a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Advice for future students? - Never give up!
