I would like to say that I had an absolutely fantastic tutor who goes above and beyond what I was expecting. Without my tutor's knowledge, humour and, on occasions, honesty, I would never have completed on time. For the students who are lucky enough to have my tutor, I hope that they too find realise how lucky they are.My tutor's a star!

I have alot to thank DistanceLearningCentre.com for, I have finally got on the road to achieving my dream!

Due to family circumstances I was taken from school in year 10, so left without any GCSE's, which was quite devastating since I was predicted excellent grades. I started work within the care sector and after many years decided to take the plunge and push for that nursing career.

Because of financial constraints, full time education was not an option. I found DistanceLearningCentre.com was perfect for my needs but as with anything you only get out what you put in. Thanks to the excellent support I received, and after many tantrums, I am pleased to say I completed my course!

I was probably horrible to live with but the thing to remember is it is not easy and if you don't put in 100%, the Distinctions won't come! The secret is being very well organized and remembering why you are doing it.

Now I'm looking forward to starting my nursing course in September 2011, I already know I want to specialise in Oncology (Cancer) nursing thanks to my early experiences caring for my late mum. I currently work on Oncology wards as well as other areas and enjoy it immensely. It is amazing to know that one day I'll be making a difference to people's lives as a nurse and couldn't have done it without DistanceLearningCentre.com. I will always be grateful!

I never in a million years thought that I would be capable of acheiving what I done in the past 18 months and it is all thanks to DistanceLearningCentre.com. My tutors have been fantastic. I am not the person I used to be, with little confidence; I have confidence in all my work and have learnt such great things that I can not only carry through my university course but also life.

I loved the flexibility with DistanceLearningCentre.com; with the two challenging children I have this really fitted in perfectly with my life. Even in moments when I doubted myself with a really challenging topic on a personal level my fantastic tutor gave me the confidence and new self esteem to see me through it.

I have every confidence that I can achieve all my dreams that I have always wanted to and become a fully qualified Nurse; and I put this all down to DistanceLearningCentre.com and its fantastic tutors - a big thank you again DistanceLearningCentre.com.

I started the DistanceLearningCentre.com Access to Higher Education Diploma in November 2009 as I wanted to apply for midwifery. I had been a stay-at-home mum for 4 years but I knew that when my children went to school I would want a career again. I still wanted to be at home with my children so didn't want to do an access course that was college based so DistanceLearningCentre.com seemed perfect for me.

I had been out of education for 10 years so it took me a while to get back into sitting down and studying, but with great support, guidance and patience from my tutor I slowly began to make my way through the assignments. I finally completed the course in June 2011 and have been offered places at both Salford and Chester university to study midwifery in September 2011.

The best thing about the DistanceLearningCentre.com course is that it is flexible. I worked in my own time, starting and completing assignments in a time frame that suited me and my lifestyle. The tutor support is really wonderful, my tutor called me each week and responded very quickly to any email queries. Without DistanceLearningCentre.com I would not be in the position I am in; ready and waiting to start midwifery training!

After liaising with my local college regarding the timetable for completing the Access Course to Midwifery, Nursing and Health Professionals, disappointedly, I knew that it was not an option for me. I work part-time and have two young children; the timetable did not fit in with my family life. I searched on the internet and found DistanceLearningCentre.com, It answered all my prayers as it fitted in perfectly with my lifestyle and gave me the opportunity to study at my own pace and convenience.

The course materials have been easy to follow and well written, I have found the modules extremely informative and enjoyable. I can honestly say I have not looked back since. The support I received from my tutor has been incredible; he has been very supportive and has felt more like a friend than a tutor. My confidence has grown immensely since completing the course, the hard work has paid off, and the grades have been rewarding.

I am proud that I have achieved a recognised qualification, and I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life. The course has been a great experience and I would definitely recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com to others. Thank you to all the staff at DistanceLearningCentre.com, in particular to my tutor. Without your help and support I would not have got this far.
