Studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com gave me the opportunity to do my Access to Health Diploma around my very busy full time job as a registered veterinary nurse. Without DistanceLearningCentre.com I would not have been able to gain the qualifications that I needed to apply for university, as leaving work to attend a college was just simply not an option for me.

I can honestly say that although the course required a lot of hard work and late nights, it has been a very positive experience for me and has given my self-esteem and confidence in my abilities a real boost. The tutors were absolutely fantastic and I genuinely cannot praise their knowledge and support highly enough! The modules and units were all very relevant and I have learnt a lot that I hope to apply in my future career.

I am happy to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for all the support. I had never expected to study on-line and achieve education at this level, as a mum and in full-time work. DistanceLearningCentre.com have made that dream come true.

The course was very challenging, late night studying vs. sleep! The way the tutors lay out and structure the assessments, and the materials provided, made it clear to understand what research is required. Emailing tutors in the middle of night and getting a response in a short space of time was fantastic. The tutors are excellent and exceptional.

I have always wanted to be social worker and help others. The support and encouragement has given me this opportunity and has built the confidence that I needed to go to University. I did not reduce my working hours and still worked full time. I changed the balance of my work life, family life and education to make sure I achieved this Diploma through determination. I have been accepted at Wolverhampton University to study (BA) Hons Social Work Degree and I am so proud. I couldn't have done it without the support. During my University interviews the assignments equipped me to be ready, and thank you for giving time to concentrate on the interviews.

Also, after a family loss my world was falling apart and I was thinking of giving up, but my tutor never gave up on me. My emotions were considered and my tutor communicated with me so easily and made sure that I completed the course. The support you gave me will stay with me forever, especially at such difficult time. The feedback about how much my academic level progressed meant everything. I just want to start by saying that I am so grateful to DistanceLearningCentre.com for giving me this opportunity and broadening my horizons, allowing and helping me to begin this journey of realising my academic potential.

I had my first child when I was 18, I was hoping to go to university but I put those dreams on hold to ensure I could provide for my son by working full time. I've since had a daughter and again put my dream of going to university on hold but still longed for the chance to be able to achieve what I know I'm capable of. Working full time to support my family has been my only choice for the last 12 years, and I'd looked into going to college on numerous occasions but could never afford to leave work, but then I found DistanceLearningCentre.com ... And the rest they say, is history!

I won't say it was easy, far from it in fact. But the tutors and course materials where so helpful and supportive, they made sure I had all I needed to succeed. I used the ILP to constantly keep on track to reach each milestone in the time I needed to reach it in. I only started in October so I was dubious if I could complete within 8 months in time for June moderation. I actually achieved this in less than 6.

I'm so proud of how far I have come, I've pushed myself so hard I now know that I'm more than prepared for university in September. I applied to study Computing Bsc at Edge Hill and thanks to brilliant guidance from my tutor at the time, my application was accepted straight away!

I knew I wanted to retrain and become a nurse but with so many years out of education and worries about the expense and time it would take me to gain the additional qualifications to gain a University placement I continually hesitated.

After reading about DistanceLearningCentre.com I decided to take the leap and I couldn't be happier. I enrolled on the HE Access to Nursing Diploma and studied across a year and a half.

Completing the course was one of the most difficult things I have ever done, balancing studies, family and work was very hard but my appointed tutors proved invaluable. They were always on hand to provide support and guidance and were very understanding of the difficulties that people face while completing additional learning. The modules and assessments were detailed and informative and presented in a way that was clear and concise.
