As a 31-year-old mother of four running my own business, I thought my dream of becoming a Doctor had long passed me by. I joined the Access to Physiotherapy course with a clear goal in mind: to progress into Health and Exercise Science and ultimately pursue a career in physiotherapy. Although I began the course slightly later than most, starting in December, I approached my studies with determination, resilience, and a quiet confidence that quickly set me apart.
At times, the pressure of meeting deadlines in a condensed timeframe brought moments of doubt, but I never let these moments define me. Instead, I leaned into the support offered by my tutors, taking guidance on board and using it to fuel my progress. My ability to rise to the challenge, ask for help when needed, and remain focused on my ambitions speaks volumes about my character and maturity.
