My partner actually introduced me DistanceLearningCentre.com, he told me that his friend picked a course called Access to Nursing and with that he got an admission into the university to pursue his nursing career. Immediately I picked up my laptop to start the process and the course started the next day.

I aspire to be a Nurse or a senior clinician in the healthcare system, this has been my dreams over the years and I'm glad I'm working towards that path.

The structure and layout of the course were excellent. The design was clear and logical, making it easy to follow and understand the progression of the content. The units were well-organised, each building on the previous one, which facilitated a smooth learning experience. The user interface of the learning platform was intuitive, contributing to an efficient and enjoyable educational journey.

The materials provided throughout the course were comprehensive and practical. Each resource was carefully curated to ensure relevance to the concepts being studied. They were easy to digest, which enhanced my understanding and awareness of the topics being studied. Despite my educational background in Nigeria, where I obtained a degree, I found the materials to be appropriately sophisticated, challenging me to expand my knowledge and skills.

My tutor was exceptionally proactive and supportive. They took the time to understand my background and goals, providing personalised guidance that was instrumental in my success. The support network established by this tutor was impeccable, characterised by timely responses, valuable advice, and thorough feedback on assignments. Their commitment to student success was evident in every interaction, setting a high standard for educational support.

My overall experience with DistanceLearningCentre.com was highly positive. I have gained significant insights into the UK educational system and developed a better understanding of how academic work can be effectively done and achieved. The course has broadened my knowledge, honed my skills, and provided me with a valuable perspective on international education standards.

The structure, materials, and overall support of the course were outstanding. I am grateful for the opportunity to enhance my education and look forward to applying what I have learned in my future endeavors.

DistanceLearningCentre.com offered me the flexibility to do all of these things while studying - Ela Guneri

My experience at DistanceLearningCentre.com has been beautiful because I was working and studying in the same time. Since I don’t live with my parents, it was a little bit hard to keep up with housework, study, and working outside to provide for myself. However,  DistanceLearningCentre.com offered me the flexibility to do all of these things while studying which enabled me to have some time for myself and also have time for my studies and other things. I’m so grateful that my tutor was wonderful they really helped me out.  If they did not believe in me I couldn't have done it, I don’t think I could’ve achieved that. She really helped me out and showed flexibility when it came to the point where I was really struggling and if I needed more time or if I needed to submit more than one assignment to meet the moderation. I really appreciate her help and everyone’s help at DistanceLearningCentre.com and I would really recommend anyone that wants to live a life where they have to study work and do everything besides studying to choose this centre.

I learnt more about biology, psychology and writing academically then I could ever imagine. - Matthew Campbell

I left the British Army in Sep 2022 after 16 years of service. During my career I deployed on various operations, but none of them gave me more pride and satisfaction then when I was assigned to be the section commander of a team of soldiers on a deployment to Wales. Here our task was to reinforce the Welsh ambulance service due to the high demand of Covid-19 cases, and it was during this operation that I decided I wanted to become a Registered Nurse for the NHS. DistanceLearningCentre.com was recommended to me by many ex-army personnel, so I decided that I would take on the course and put everything into completing it and meeting the UCAS requirement for university. This was no easy feat, I worked 9-7 as a healthcare assistant when I left the army and had to support three children, I would do coursework at night and go to work in the morning, I was tired and stressed all the time but I wanted this more than anything and thankfully the course itself was fantastic, the tutors were very helpful and patient, and I learnt more about biology, psychology and writing academically then I could ever imagine. Now I have finished the course with the vast majority being distinctions, I have been selected to begin studying at Oxford Brookes university in September. I cannot wait to become a nurse. I recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com to everyone who has recently left the forces as not only does it give you the opportunity to develop yourself academically but also as a person. Many thanks for all of the support from my tutors and from the staff, it has been a pleasure.

One of the biggest advantages was the flexibility it offered. It was possible to study primarily at night after my kids went to bed, making it feasible to pursue my education without compromising my family responsibilities. - Lucie Kalivodova

When I decided to go to university and get the career I wanted, I was looking for an Access to HE Diploma to fulfil this dream. Not only were no colleges in my area offering the course I needed, but as a parent of young children, finding time for traditional classroom learning was nearly impossible. I cannot thank DistanceLearningCentre.com enough for giving me this opportunity. Overall, I had a positive experience. It was more convenient for me to do the course online. One of the biggest advantages was the flexibility it offered. It was possible to study primarily at night after my kids went to bed, making it feasible to pursue my education without compromising my family responsibilities.

My tutor was very understanding when I needed an extension to any assessments because of the illness of my kids. He responded to emails promptly and was quickly marking assessments. I could schedule exams according to my time, which was handy as I did not need to rearrange anything because of my studies. The course materials were easy to understand and helped me to complete my studies. Of course, I had to use other sources to get more in-depth knowledge, but the materials provided the basics required. The instructions were easy to understand, so I had no problem recognising what was expected from me. Distance learning teaches you to be more independent and be able to plan your time more carefully. There were times when it was very challenging to manage assessments and exams while taking care of my kids, who were constantly ill and working a part-time job. But the hard work paid off, and I successfully finished the Diploma. I am immensely grateful for it as now I can apply to university, which was the main reason for completing this course.

I have learnt so much throughout this course which has really prepared me for my Physiotherapy degree in September - Sam Neill

At the age of 31, I had decided that I wanted to fully dive in and commit to a career change and pursue my interests in Physiotherapy. I knew I had to gain 36 distinction credits in my Access To Healthcare Diploma course in order to enrol onto my preferred university degree choice. I was entering unknown territory when having to learn how to write with an academic style in assignments to distinction level due to not studying since leaving school 16 years ago. However, this course was brilliant. My tutors were there for me throughout every step, giving me advice, encouragement and direction. Although I had some circumstances throughout the course such as having an operation, getting married, and raising two puppies all while working three days a week to pay my house hold bills, I made sure that I worked extremely hard, devoting my time towards achieving my required grades. I have learned so much throughout this course which has really prepared me for my Physiotherapy degree in September. For any adults with life commitments but wanting to change careers I would say…….GO FOR IT! It’s been the hardest but best thing I have done! A huge thank you to everyone at DistanceLearningCentre.com. You are all part of my ongoing journey in becoming a qualified Physiotherapist.
