After completing 22 years’ service in the Royal Air Force, I decided that I wanted to pursue a new career at the end of my current contract. Following an injury, I received physiotherapy care. This experience had a profound effect on me, sparking a determination to work towards a career as a physiotherapist.
Upon contacting my local university to enquire about the physiotherapy entry requirements I was informed that the most suitable route for me would be to complete an Access to HE courses; I had no idea what this was or what it entailed. I spent some time researching various routes to complete an Access course.
