My course was fantastic. The materials were excellent - Claire Robinson

I enrolled with DistanceLearningCentre.com as the Access to HE Diploma course was based online. This enabled me to study when I wanted and at a pace I could manage; even my two exams were done via Skype.

My course was fantastic. The materials were excellent, my tutors were great; as was the feedback on assessments. I felt supported throughout my studies and I achieved grades which were far better than I anticipated.

Through hard work and commitment, I completed my diploma within nine months. I will be starting university to study occupational therapy and I'm absolutely thrilled. Studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com has been an incredible experience, one that I would recommend to anyone - believe in yourself; you can do it! (Nov 2018)

Following some online research and some word of mouth reviews, I took the plunge and I have to say, it was the best decision I've made to date! - Ben Hockley

Following having to leave work due to personal circumstances, I still had the goal of a career as a paramedic at the forefront of my mind. With a lot more time on my hands and not wishing to go back to college, I found DistanceLearningCentre.com following some online research and some word of mouth reviews. I took the plunge and I have to say, it was the best decision I've made to date! I joined the course in January 2018 with the ambitious target of entering university in the following September's intake.

Whilst my tutors were a little surprised by the ambition of my aim, they supported me nonetheless and I was fortunate enough to have DistanceLearningCentre.com talk to the university on my behalf to get accepted in time to start in September! The Access course was by no means easy - it requires huge levels of organisation, discipline and motivation to complete to a good standard and within my desired timeframe.

However, once the hard work was done, it was not forgotten! Within the first few weeks of university, large amounts of biology and psychology from my Access studies started paying off helping me to get a big head start on key concepts in Anatomy and Physiology as well as the psychological aspect of Paramedic Science.

My studies with DistanceLearningCentre.com not only helped me gain a university place but are still helping me now. I have no doubt that I would not be where I am now without DistanceLearningCentre.com and it's tutors! (Nov 2018)

I'd thoroughly recommend anyone looking to venture down a new professional path to start their journey right here - Trudy Goulding

It was the possibility of redundancy that first prompted me to reflect on whether I could somehow take the opportunity to change how I might spend the rest of my professional life. I realised that my career had not been the result of any great planning on my part, (let's be honest, zero planning) nor was it particularly aligned with my personal passions or values. I'd long been interested in nutrition and its relationship to disease but had not considered turning my passion into a profession, especially at this late stage in my professional life. However, a friend, who is also a life coach, assured me that it was never to late to do what you would have done with hindsight, even 30 years later! As Carl Bard said, "Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending." And so my better-late-than-never goal was born - to become a Nutritional Therapist.

I changed jobs as I couldn't afford to stop working to study so I knew I had to find flexible online study resources. I figured I could slowly study my way out of my current professional life and into a new one. To get onto an accredited nutrition course, I had to first bridge the gap in my A-level science knowledge so I was delighted to find DistanceLearningCentre.com with its wide variety of accredited Access to HE science courses. Enrolling was a super easy process and there was a wide choice of course options that made it really easy to choose the combination of science units I needed for my specific higher education course. I really appreciated how the overall Access course was structured, first laying the foundations with the two study skills units and then easing into each new topic area with the non-graded introductory units. The materials provided a good balance between covering the key concepts and encouraging/requiring further research, thus driving self-directed learning development and increasing study self-confidence. My tutors were incredibly encouraging all the way through and because they were always there when I needed advice, I never felt stressed. The feedback after each assignment was extremely detailed and relevant and therefore helped identify any areas for improvement.

Thanks to DistanceLearningCentre.com, the quality of the course materials and my unfailingly supportive tutors I am one step closer to my goal. More importantly, I have learned a lot about what works for me in terms of self-directed learning and what doesn't, which is invaluable knowledge as I continue with my online studies. I'd thoroughly recommend anyone looking to venture down a new professional path to start their journey right here. (Nov 2018)

I would never have thought I would succeed, but I've learnt now never under estimate yourself! - Michelle Roberts

I always knew I wanted to work within the health sector, but found myself in an accounting job with four children, my dream seemed to be slipping away. It wasn't until a friend recommended DistanceLearningCentre.com in my children's school playground. I'd never heard of it and decided to look into it, queried it and started my access diploma!

Everybody I spoke to on the admin side as well as the teaching side were all so helpful and supportive. It was all at my own pace, as you can imagine having four young energetic boys, working part time, it was not easy. I started a routine to fit my hectic lifestyle and with the help and support and my hard work and determination, I was able to complete the access course with the majority being at a distinction level!

I can't thank my tutor at DistanceLearningCentre.com enough for helping me fulfil my dream, I'm now going on to study Child Nursing at University. I would never have thought I would succeed, but I've learnt now never under estimate yourself! (Nov 2018)

I finally realised I needed to chase my dreams - Jessica Pilo-Beech

I have always wanted to be a midwife, but had never been brave enough to take the leap to change careers. Since I left school in 2012 I committed to full time work in an industry I did not have a true passion for, but I had finally realised I needed to chase my dreams.

I made the decision to do just that and enrolled on the Access to Midwifery and Nursing with DistanceLearningCentre.com. I carried on in full time work and found it incredibly challenging to find the time to commit to the workload that the course brought along with it, but I did and absolutely loved it, and I really felt like I had a purpose, getting that little bit closer to my end goal after every assessment was submitted.

The tutors were so helpful and so prompt and clear with their responses and feedback and I surprised myself after every assessment and realised that hard work really does pay off. I have so far been offered two University interviews and hope to carry on the journey towards my dream career, something I couldn't have done without the DistanceLearningCentre.com. (Nov 2018)
