After being told back in college I could never study to be a qualified Physiotherapist, due to failing some A Levels, I was thankful to find DistanceLearningCentre.com and a course perfect to gain me the qualifications I needed for University. I am currently working as a Senior Physiotherapy Assistant and now my dream of becoming a qualified Physiotherapist is now possible!
It was a hard slog, due to personal issues I also had along the way so the course took me two years rather than one, but I am so proud that I did not give up or withdraw from the programme. The tutors at DistanceLearningCentre.com were brilliant, patient and understanding and all very knowledgeable on their subject area. The materials supplied and the student forum is brilliant help throughout this course, but again any issues you have tutors are more than happy to help. This course is excellent if you still need to work full time and also, if you have a family to run (I have a 3 year old!). I would highly recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com but be aware it does take a lot of self-discipline and organisation to get the work done (though your tutor is always at the end of an email or a phone call if you become stuck).

Before joining DistanceLearningCentre.com, I had worked through different positions of care with the elderly, children, and hospital environment. I have wanted to be a nurse for years, but never achieved the grades from school to consider a degree. I also never thought I had the potential to get into university, let alone be offered a place at one to study Adult Nursing, but I have and this is all thanks to this amazing course.
The support I have had from the tutors has been amazing (even with my emails of panic). I have been able to study at my own pace and this has been very important as I have two children which I have needed to work around.
I would really like to thank DistanceLearningCentre.com for giving me the opportunity to improve myself and finally get my dream to study Adult Nursing in September, 2015 at Coventry University. Anyone considering the option to do the online course rather than college, my advice is you should definitely go for the online choice, I did and it is the best decision I have made.

After having my children I decided that I wanted to become a midwife, only the grades I had from school just wasn't good enough for me to apply for university. I researched to find out how I could study to become one, the positive feedback from the other students is what made me decide to study with DistanceLearningCentre.com.
With DistanceLearningCentre.com, I was able to retake my GCSE's alongside the access to midwifery diploma. I was able to pay monthly which meant I didn't have to find the funds upfront and I could work it around my family commitments. I pined for a career in Law, and studying in higher education, was the only answer to get me where I wanted to be. So I took the plunge and decided to turn my dream into a reality. I knew I firstly needed to study the Access to H.E Diploma, and DistanceLearningCentre.com, has given me the opportunity to do this.
It has been ideal, being able to study from home, as it has not impacted on my family life. Although some of the assessments have been challenging at times, which I anticipated, the Access Diploma has prepared me substantially for University.
I am now looking forward to next chapter of actually starting University and studying an LLB Law Degree. For now, I am enjoying a well-earned summer break before getting back to the studying in September. Its funny were a phone call can take you. As an ambulance technician wishing to make the leap to paramedic, I was directed to DistanceLearningCentre.com by student services at University of Central Lancashire. Having left school just over a quarter of a century ago, I found the whole process daunting, having no formal education since 1988. My initial contacts with DistanceLearningCentre.com left me with no uncertainty as to the personal sacrifice required, but I wanted to be a paramedic so I enrolled.
The guidance I received from DistanceLearningCentre.com was excellent. I gradually built my confidence and knowledge in coursework that was full of guidance and direction. Both tutors assigned to me were delightful, informative, and helped me when necessary. Commencement of study was met with production of a personal study planner which was very effective in providing structure to the course as well as deadlines and personal targets to aim for.
