I decided to study with DistanceLearningCentre.com because I wanted to complete my Access Course whilst still working full time and it was a perfect fit to my lifestyle. The tutors are knowledgeable and helpful and I found myself really enjoying the course, it felt great to be learning! Although you don't have fellow students to talk to face to face, both the DistanceLearningCentre.com forum and the social media groups mean that there is still a great sense of camaraderie and peer support and you will find a diverse range people on the same journey as you.

I am going to university in September to study Midwifery and could not have done it without DistanceLearningCentre.com. I would highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, has been out of education for a significant period of time because, as well as allowing me to gain the grades I need to meet my university offer, the course has given me a refresher in independent study and taught me valuable skills that I will use at university. I was ecstatic to find that they provided the exact modules I was looking for - Jamie Taylor

Before I started my course with DistanceLearningCentre.com, I was at university studying nursing. Although the nursing profession was excellent and I'd had some great experiences, I had inadvertently developed a new passion for Diagnostic Radiography. Subsequently, I had made the decision to leave my nursing studying and pursue Radiography.

Upon reapplying to university, I was told that my previous Access qualification was no longer valid. Determined to do whatever it took, I decided to retake the Access course but I didn't want to go back to college. Thankfully, a friend who had previously completed a course via distance learning told me about DistanceLearningCentre.com. I was ecstatic to find that they provided the exact modules I was looking for, and so I enrolled at the earliest opportunity.

Reflecting on my time with them − from my first day to my last − I have received excellent support from my tutors. They always provided positive feedback on my assessments which − as time went on − enabled me grow more confident academically. With that said, distance learning is very much self-directed, just as it is at university, and so it is very important to know what your individual learning style is and study in a way that helps you retain information. The course isn't easy, so you need to be determined, self-motivated, and able to manage your time well. However, with the help of your tutor, peers, the learning materials and some self-belief you will get through it.

I am very proud to have been offered a place to return to university this year to study Diagnostic Radiography. It was hard work to get back to this point but all that hard work has paid off.

To anyone who is thinking about studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com; I would say take a chance, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. These courses really can open doors to careers that you may think are far be beyond you're reach. Well, they're not. If you want it, go for it. (Jun 15)

As a busy Mum and a HCA working shifts I could only dream about going to University to train as a Nurse. As a mature student you feel as if you have so much to give but going to college once a week for me would have been impossible. Studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com has enabled me to achieve the diploma in my own time around my commitments.

The course has been hard at times, however the support of my family and from the tutors has been amazing and I want to say a big thank you to them for this. Studying has awakened me as a person and I feel so much more prepared for the demands of University and the future. For the time being I am still with DistanceLearningCentre.com, trying to improve on my GCSE grades. I will then be in a position to finally go and become the Nurse I have always wanted to be.

If you are thinking "I could never do that" then I would say to you if I can do it you definitely can. The only person stopping you is you. (Jun 15)

Completing my access diploma with DistanceLearningCentre.com enabled me to gain a qualification that I wouldn't have been able to do normally with my busy and unpredictable working hours. I found my tutors helpful and knowledgeable and the new assessment style easy to follow.

I found the forum great for getting advice from other students, and the grading criteria clear enabling me to aim for distinction. Overall, although there were times when it was difficult to juggle my studying with work, I really enjoyed it and am proud of what I have achieved. (Jun 15)

You never feel like you are alone and the tutors have made this journey an achievable one - Jane Cooke

I have been working in Childcare and raising my two children and felt it was the right time to move forward. After not studying for over twenty years it was very daunting but also exciting at the thought that I can actually fulfil my dream. I discovered DistanceLearningCentre.com and found the support amazing. You never feel like you are alone and the tutors have made this journey an achievable one. I starting in March 2014 and it has been hard work but very rewarding as you start to receive your grades and feedback from the tutors. I have completed the access to HE Diploma (Nursing, Midwifery and Health Professions) while still working fulltime and running a family while my husband works away, so distance learning can fit into any life commitments with good time management.

I am very proud of myself and looking forward to starting my Nursing degree in September, with the new confidence distance learning has given me I can't wait to get started and begin my new future.

I would highly recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com to anyone looking for a change in career and the motivation to make it happen. If you don't make changes, then nothing will ever change. Good Luck! (Jun 15)
