I have worked for a bank for the last 11 years and have fancied a career change for quite some time. I looked into doing access courses at college however none of them were able to fit around work and my 5 year old son. I discovered DistanceLearningCentre.com and the Access to Health Professions course sounded perfect!
It hasn't been easy that's for sure but with the help of my 2 fantastic tutors I completed the course in 8 months! There were times where I didn't think I could do it but the support I received really helped!

Before starting my course at DistanceLearningCentre.com I was working in a call centre doing sales, I started studying my Access to Nursing in October 2013 with the hope to achieve high marks to attend university starting September 2014. I thought DistanceLearningCentre.com provided a lot of support when I needed it and helped me where possible.
I have completed my course to a high standard in May 2014 and have been offered a place to study Mental Health Nursing at Keele University. I would recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com to anybody looking to further their education.

For some time I had been looking for a way to pursue my dream career of being a midwife. When the opportunity arose for me to take redundancy from my long term career in financial services I decided to take the risk.
DistanceLearningCentre.com gave me the opportunity to study alongside my work and raise a family. I must admit it was tough at times and I found motivation and personal drive that I never knew I possessed, but it was totally worth it.
Now, when I am made redundant in a few weeks time, I can leave in the knowledge that I am prepared and ready to apply to study at university in 2015. I've always wanted to be a Midwife but left school and went straight into work. After having my 3 girls, I felt I had even more to offer the role but there was only me who could make it happen. I couldn't fit in college-based studying alongside being a mum and working so looked into online courses-even checking DistanceLearningCentre.com was a proper accredited course (and yes it's accepted and approved by universities).
I started 18/02/13 and completed by 29/01/14. My tutors were fab; they gave me time, patience, and support even through my dozy moments and general moaning!
I am now ready to apply to uni and am looking into taking a career break to study. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and live by the motto 'No Regrets'. If you have the commitment then you can do it, life's too short to just think about things. I have and will continue to recommend DistanceLearningCentre.com and I enjoyed my units as I had chosen them. I now think of my tutors as friends, and the financial side was ok as I paid monthly.

Studying with DistanceLearningCentre.com has been completely revolutionary for me. After spending 3 years trying to complete A-levels, I left sixth form and went straight into full-time work instead of heading to University like most of my peers.
DistanceLearningCentre.com allowed me to study at home in my own time at my own pace, really helping me to become organised, self-motivated and boosting my confidence in my own abilities.
