Online Access to Higher Education Diplomas for Midwifery

Our Access to HE Diplomas give you the opportunity to apply for a degree in Midwifery.
This can lead to a career working in the NHS, independent practice, the community, research, or education.
Not all careers need a degree, and an Access to HE Diploma in Midwifery is also an excellent way to maximise your job prospects, such as:
- Clinical support staff
- An advocate or doula
- Support roles for women and families in need
- Breastfeeding support
Access to Allied Health Professions Diplomas
These courses are studied entirely by distance learning.
You need to have a UK residential address to study this qualification.
Although there are no formal entry requirements for this Access to HE Diploma, to meet university entry requirements you may need GCSEs or further credits at Level 2. If you do not have these already, you can study them with us.

You will study 45 graded credits in Biology, Social Issues in Healthcare and Psychology and 15 ungraded credits.
Choose this to brush up your English and Maths skills in some ungraded Level 2 units.
