Aspects of Human Phys Alternative Assessment TAQ 2

Postby gracecath » Mon May 07, 2018 9:55 am

Part 1 of the TAQ discusses a lack of ADH and refers to symptoms + a physiological explanation for those symptoms.

Would it be smart to choose 2 main symptoms of the lack of the hormone then give multiple physiological explanations for each of those symptoms?

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards!

For this question it is best to start off with a clear and detailed explanation of what ADH does.

Then look at the symptoms of a lack of ADH with an explanation of why they occur. It is best to aim for quality answers linking symptoms to physiological causes rather than quantity.

I seem to have spent longer describing the function of the kidney and nephrons than I did on the symptoms....do you think thats okay?
I did explain why the symptoms occur.

After explaining the function of ADH which inevitably involves some explanation of kidney function (but not a whole detailed explanation), then the symptoms do need to be explained, i.e why does a lack of ADH lead to these symptoms?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I was just little worried I hadn't put enough information about why lack of the hormone causes the symptoms but I've checked quite a few different websites and I think I've covered it...unless I'm missing something glaringly obvious....I'll triple check.
