Head has blown already

Postby jasminesmummy » Wed Jan 17, 2018 8:39 pm

Hi everyone,
I’m currently on the first assignment ‘How to apply to University’ and finding the whole thing overwhelming, please tel me this feeling is normal. I have 3 young kids, work and my hubby is in the forces and is due to go away. Currently two of my kids are unwell with d&v so studytime is on a decline, anyone need a buddy to help me through this period? X

Hi jasminesmummy,
Please do not worry you will soon get used to how everything works. The best way to start is yes to ask for help on here but to make sure that you have a tutorial with your tutor and send them an e-mail telling them what you are having problems with so that they can go through it all with you. Do not suffer in silence, we are all here to help you so do ask.
Best wishes

Thanks Karen, my tutor is fab but I don’t want to keep bothering her, I’ve submitted the assignment today so I’m hoping it’s right x

Hi,

I started on the 15 January. I am studying Nursing and Midwifery Level 3.

I felt the same way when I started the "Applying to Uni" assignment. I am currently on TAQ 7 where you have to give feedback on your mock interview and am really struggling to get my word count above 62! And it needs to be 400! :-(

I have a 2 and half year old daughter and work full time so its a nuts for me as well! Will get a good nights sleep and crack on again tomorrow!

Hope all is going well for you so far!

K xx

Hi Hun, it took me a while but I got there in the end and passed it :-) I’m now on further study skills. I do find it a little hard with working plus having young kids but I try to do about 3 hrs worth of study a day. If you need any student support then feel free to message me :-) good luck xx

It is quite a nice a nice unit actually, and does at least give you some real insight into what brexit really means without a political skew one way or the other.

Best wishes
