Nucleic acids

Postby LisaClark » Fri May 27, 2016 10:33 am

Could someone please explain the linkage of nucleic acids?
confused by the structure and linkage.
Does linkage mean function?

Thanks

Lisa

Hi,
I am not quite sure of the context that you mean linkage here. Genes can be linked if they are on the same chromosome. Or maybe you mean how structure is linked to function, in other words, how something is structured, and a reason for why it is structured according to its function or job.

Can't remember reading that criteria off the top of my head, but it was a few months ago now.
Basically you need to know that first section in the learning materials inside out for that exam - I wouldn't worry so much about how the criteria is worded - if you know that section well, you'll be just fine.
