It’s not too late for students to apply for student finance for academic year 2017/18

What is it like? How do you do it? What about interviews? What are different Universities and Colleges like?

Hi All,
Below is information from Student Finance England that you might find useful.

The student finance deadline might have passed but students can still apply, they just might not get all their money in time for the start of their course.
Follow our three easy steps and we’ll make an initial assessment so you’ll have some money as close to the start of tyour course as possible.

Apply now

It’s quick and easy to apply online at http://www.gov.uk/studentfinance

If they’ve already started their application online, they should log back into their student finance account and finish it as soon as they can.

Send us any evidence
If we ask them to send us any evidence to support their application, they should send it to us as quickly as possible. Their application isn’t complete and can’t be assessed until we have all the information we need.

Print, sign and return their declaration form
We can’t pay them until they do! Before they send it to us, they should check that they’ve signed their full name and used the current date – not their date of birth. Any mistakes could delay their application.

For everything students need to know about student finance, they should visit SFE’s student finance zone.

Best wishes

Jane
