Before starting Comms....

Postby scoulson » Wed Dec 08, 2010 7:07 pm

I just wanted to pass on a bit of advice to people who are at the beginning of this module.

Do contact your tutor and check the meaning of the questions before doing any work. After stressing about this for ages, I finally went through the tasks with my tutor last night and it turns out some of the questions are so badly worded that what is required could very easily be misunderstood. I hated to ask for help but was so confused by some of these tasks that I was getting in a real panic. Some of them genuinely don't make sense, so please do check, or your hard work could be wasted..

That is all : )

Hi Soph

Was it the Global Warming Essay or the HE bit?

Oh no, Sophie, I'm so sorry this is such a late reply. Haven't been on here for ages because for some reason my work PC now doesn't allow it.

I hope you figured Comms out in the end!

I've yet to receive any feedback about mine, so don't know if what I sent off was any good but may be able to help if there's anything you're still puzzled by?

I am finding the same with this, I get to speak to my tutor on wednesday night so will do as much as I can until then, and then speak to her in person.
IMO its very badly worded, it just makes no sense!
