Practical Skills assignment pulse....do I round up?

Postby kira » Wed Feb 12, 2014 10:04 pm

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me with this..........

I have my pulse rates from test subjects, having taken 15 seconds before during and after as specified.

I know that for the purposes of the statistics I will be asked to use a 5 second rate. Should I be dividing my 15 second result by 3 and keeping say 1 decimal place after e.g. 5.3? or Should I just round the number up or down to the nearest whole number?

Many thanks in advance as this will hold me back from getting on with my stat analysis!!

:-)
