PODCASTS would you like to see more of them or not?

Postby Karen Hayday » Fri Apr 13, 2018 2:17 pm

Hi all,
We have now added to the podcasts so there is one for intro to chemistry as well as biology and we would like to know if you are finding these useful or not so that we can decide whether we should make more? So please do let us know on this thread?

We are thinking about making them for all the intro units, study skills, research and examined units plus any that people find particularly challenging. So hearing your thoughts on whether we should do this and if we do what units you would have liked to have seen them on is really useful.
We have picked these units because:
1. Study skills are the first level 3 units you complete so we thought that a bit more help would be a good idea
2. Intro units are your starter for 10 on any subject and therefore podcasts would help you get into the swing of things
3. Research and examined units are very different to all the other topics you complete and therefore perhaps more help would be appreciated
4. Units people find particularly challenging so do send in the ones you think more help would be beneficial

Thanks a lot Karen

I love podcasts and I don't think there's such a thing as too many of them. I'd love to hear you cover various topics about learning and teaching.

I am still working on ungraded assignments at the moment but I will definitely find the podcasts useful-the more sources of information the better and I can listen to them while I'm walking the dog or cooking dinner

The podcasts explaining what is expected from the assignment in more detail are so helpful-keep them coming please.
