I would say I'm about 2/3 of the way through my notes and already have quite a big word count, does it have to be 1000 or under? and do headings count in the word count for example I have put above the notes I have made on Erikson, 'Erikson' heading and then 'Gould' for my Gould notes just so I remember which ones are which and I have put a heading at the top saying 'notes'

Is it okay to set it out like this as I find it easier for myself and think it would make it easier for my tutor reading it?

I suggest you speak with your tutor to get clarification on this.
