Postby LLB1995 » Thu Aug 27, 2015 1:29 pm

Hi, I'm a little on the confused side I have started child poverty assessment TAQ1:

I have read all the sources provided but struggling on the table I don't know if I am going mad but do I write a table with each source then the answers on each source.
I an write essays but cant seem to get grips on the planning with tables

thanks in advance :)

Reason: Just taken away the specifics of TAQ1, so not to cause an unfair advantage to other students

Sorry to hear that the table is not something you are finding useful . The criteria asks that you are able to recognize whether a source is factual or opinion based and putting it in a table makes it easy for some people to actually see if they have missed out any information . The plan for the essay comes later so we are asking you to critically consider the sources using the headings :-
What is the purpose of this Source?
Is it fact, opinion or both?
Give examples to support your answer:
How appropriate is this source?
Give examples to support your answer:
So this isnt really the plan we want to know if you can look at different sources and be a critical reader , yet another skill that will be useful when you go on to Level 3 and onto the university course
