Re: Not a great start, no password!

Thank you Karen, I was hoping that was the case. One more quick question, how do I go about asking for an extension when tutors are on holiday? I've been way too optimistic with my ILP!

Re: Not a great start, no password!

Yey I got the password, the lovely lady from student services was really helpful so thank you for advising I email them. Think I might have been a bit optimistic thinking I'd be able to get the English cracked this week though as I've opened it up this morning and I'm stuck all ready! I've started t...

Not a great start, no password!

Good morning I restarted my course 2 days ago, before restarting I was given the impression that I will be picking up where I left off before going on hold, once my start date arrived I was told off my tutor that I had to start from the very beginning again as I was on the old diploma before and wil...

Restarting after a long break

Hi I started my Access to Health Professions a couple of years ago but had to put it on hold due to family commitments. I'm now ready to pick up where I left off and am completely focused for when I restart on the 1st April. I had just submitted my first level 3 work when I went on hold and I was th...

Self Profile

Morning, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'm doing my self profile at the moment but not really too sure how it should begin, do I need to do a kind of introduction or just start off by saying "I left school in 1997, with x qualifications, then go on to say what I've done since,...

Re: Global warming

Hi Doreen

I've just sent mine off last week. It's quite daunting isn't it. There's some really useful websites to look on for information to get you started, off the top of my head: national geographic, NOAA, wwf and the bbc I found useful.

Hope this helps

All going well until multiplying fractions!

Hi, At risk of sounding really dense, I'm hoping someone can help me, I was worrying about the maths module as It was never my strongest subject at school, but, all was going great until I reached multiplying fractions! I'm fine with the first couple of examples but example 4.2 I haven't got a clue,...

Re: Access to health newbie

Hi, Thanks, I'm torn between Social Interaction and Psychopathology can't decide, I've spoken to my tutor who said just pick one and it can always be changed at a later date. I've almost finished the induction now so looking forward to getting stuck in to the rest of it. Thanks for the advice and go...

Re: Access to health newbie

Hi Sara, Thanks for getting in touch, well done for finishing the course, that's pretty good going doing it in 8 months! It's great to hear from people who have done the course for reassurance really that it can be done. How did you find the course? (best and worst bits), also which specialist subje...
