Life at Uni - Physiotherapy :-D

Hey all Thought I'd pop back on and let everybody know how I am getting on. Sorry it has taken me a while but the last couple of months have been pretty full on! I started Physiotherapy at Coventry at the end of September. They've certainly not broken us in to it slowly!! The course is pretty intens...

It now feels all so real.... and so very very good to! For the first time in months, I do not feel neurotic, stressed or sh...

Re: Q17 a) academic text books

Hi Take a look at: http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm I found this website indispensible throughout the course as it was the easiest and most detailed site showing how to compile your references. Lots of examples that you can use as a template for your own. I'm not sure about the You...

Re: Help at weekends/Motivational Issues

Hi I had to study most weekends and struggled at first like you did too. If you're stuck, post what you are struggling with on this forum. Many students may have already done the unit and can help, plus many DLC staff are on here too over the weekend to help. Also, get in the habit of looking throug...

I would say it is. It comes under Psychology which is linked to mental health. My university (Coventry) is accepting it as such.
Hope this helps

Certificate Received

So excited... finally received certificate today!! My 5 year old daughter asked me what was in my envelope and I told her it was my certificate. Completely unprompted, she told me to sit down and told me I deserved a big hug, put her arms round me and said well done! Bless her. Such a great feeling ...

Re: officially finished

Kingston! Well done you :) Still need to get everything 100% confirmed for my place at Coventry as waiting for my certificate, CRB check, health screening. Keep having to remind myself I exceeded Coventry's conditions, I'm not a criminal and I am in good health so absolutely no reason that things wi...

Hey, I'm not sure if you need any more, but ust in case :) 1. Breast milk is more nutritious than formula milk. Agree (4) 2. Mums receive support from their midwives to breast feed. Undecided (3) 3. There is enough support in the community for mums who continue breastfeeding. Disagree (2) 4. A child...

Re: Maths assessment 2-please help!

Hi Stef

To overcome this problem I converted my shoe sizes from UK to continental sizes. It was much easier to work out my range and averages afterwards.

Hope this helps

Re: types of antibiotics

Hi Karen may wish to disagree, but if you can't find what you are looking for, then wikipedia can be useful as a starting point. At the bottom of each entry you will find a list of references.... These can often be reputable sources. Click on these links and look at the websites directly. If you thi...

Re: Maths TAQ 6. d)

Hey, First of all you need to convert your fractions using the lowest common denominator, so they are all in the same language so to speak. This means you are converting the bottom halves of the fractions so they are all the same. Using a different sum, to give you a simple example: What is 3/4 - 1/...
