Re: Grading advice

Hi Stephanie, I have replied to each of you questions: I am wondering, if I achieve a pass/merit in a unit, am I able to resubmit to obtain the distinction grade that I need? Or is that just not how it works? I am afraid that you cannot resubmit to get a higher grade as this is against QAA rules (th...

Re: Balancing the course and young children

Hi Gem
and welcome to the forum, I would also join the facebook group as it is far more active, we generally just get questions students want answering by staff on here so I am sure that you will get far more student advice on there.
Best wishes

Re: Appeal a grade

I really would not look at it this way, wait until your tutor gets back and have a chat about a remark if that is what you want. But to be completely honest a Merit is a very good grade and it will give you a profile that will help you gain a university offer.

No a sperm cell is not a nerve cell and I know that there is information on them in the materials so do have another read. If you are still stuck please contact your tutor.

Re: BSc Physiotherapy 2020

Hi Kaowin, If you have not done any science for a long time and they do not ask for it I would not go down the Access to science route as the Chemistry and Physics at level 3 is very hard. I would take the Allied Health version as they do ask for the abilty to understand and work with your patients....

Re: Access to Nursing - Psychology Exam

Hi Rickelle,
Yes it is part of substantive topics and yes they are essay style but to be honest once you get up to it there is an examination guide which will give you the information on how it is set out, the time it takes to complete etc. So don't worry.

Re: How much time do you need??

Hi Ashbash, Starting now is really good as you have to have finished your studies by the end of May 2020 to go to university in September. This means that you will have a good time to finish each assessment without rushing (best if you are working full time) generally we say that it takes two weeks ...
