So far I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and met lots lovely people. Before starting at uni I was a bit worried that being a more mature student (36 years old) ...

Planning a Practical Investigation Please Help!

Hi, I'm hoping someone could shed some light on this for me please. I've almost finished the assessment and got to the part where it asks what the level of data collected will be and why, I initially thought it would be nominal data due to the participants being of specific categories (Type A & ...

Interview for Occupational Therapy

Hi everyone, I have an interview next week at Teesside University for OT I'm so excited but at the same time I am extremely nervous, adding to the pressure is the talk of bursaries getting scrapped next year, so if I'm not offered a place this year chances are I won't be able to afford it next year ...

Thanks Phil,
I've emailed the uni, just thought it would be worth asking on here in the meantime.

Occupational Therapy Timetable

Hi,
I'm applying for a place at Teesside University next year to study Occupational Therapy. Does anyone have an idea of the kind of timetable OT students have? The reason I ask is I have two young children, so would like an idea of the amount of childcare I'm going to need.

Thanks
Karen

English TAQ 3

Hi, I'm currently working on the second essay Child poverty and why you should act, I think I'm pretty much done apart from a bit of titivating, I'm slightly worried that I haven't referenced enough though, I've only referenced twice in the whole essay, is this enough? Obviously my bibliography is g...

Restarting after a long break

Hi I started my Access to Health Professions a couple of years ago but had to put it on hold due to family commitments. I'm now ready to pick up where I left off and am completely focused for when I restart on the 1st April. I had just submitted my first level 3 work when I went on hold and I was th...

Self Profile

Morning, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'm doing my self profile at the moment but not really too sure how it should begin, do I need to do a kind of introduction or just start off by saying "I left school in 1997, with x qualifications, then go on to say what I've done since,...

Re: Global warming

Hi Doreen

I've just sent mine off last week. It's quite daunting isn't it. There's some really useful websites to look on for information to get you started, off the top of my head: national geographic, NOAA, wwf and the bbc I found useful.

Hope this helps

Karen :D
