Re: Planning a research project

Hi Zoe, Could you please tell me whether on TAQ 1a, the heading 'what previous research has been conducted.....' is just a heading or are we supposed to answer this (there is no answer box beside it)....underneath is space for sources etc. I haven't added anything here as the box only appears if you...

Re: Planning a research project

Thank you for letting me know. It seems a lot of students are struggling with this one-it really isn't clear enough at all. I think more clarity about the word count would help and just more detail in general as I seem to have wasted 4 evenings trying to work out what is expected and it's still not ...

Re: Planning a research project

Thank you Zoe...you have already made more sense than the reply from my tutor.
How many sources should I be looking at and do the links to the sources need to be included in the word count?

Planning a research project

Hi, I have been given this unit today and am really struggling to get started with the first part of TAQ 1. Any help would be greatly received! Do I have to discuss previous research carried out in both topics before deciding on a title for instance? I'm sure its really straight forward but the word...

Upload notes at myDLC??

Hi,

I've just started the Principles in Safeguarding and as well as SAQ's we have to upload notes at myDLC - how do I do this?

Thanks,
Kirsty

Health and social care provision/Premature mortality

I'm currently working on TAQ 3, part b) about premature mortality in the UK and struggling to condense all the information into 200 words whilst including what's needed. The question is clear enough but doesn't give any suggestion of what should be included. A couple of the links are outdated so tha...

Materials code

Hi, My tutor has given me my SAQ answers code and assessment code for the health and Social Care assessment (INTRODUCTION TO MIDWIFERY OPTION 2) to keep me going over the Christmas shut down period, but I've just realised she has forgotten to give me the materials code which I need to get me started...

Re: Introduction to health and social care

Thank you Klay, I agree about not over-researching but I think I was jumbling my mind with far too many articles. I've whittled it down to a select few and will refer back to my reading materials-I must remember to use them more instead of gallivanting ahead on the internet. I think I need to just s...

Introduction to health and social care

Hi, I've recently started the health and social care module of the access to midwifery course and I'm struggling with TAQ 3 which is relating to the black report and social class inequalities in health/social care. I've over-researched and have far too much information buzzing around in my head. Doe...

Re: Aspects of Human Phys Alternative Assessment TAQ 2

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I was just little worried I hadn't put enough information about why lack of the hormone causes the symptoms but I've checked quite a few different websites and I think I've covered it...unless I'm missing something glaringly obvious....I'll triple check.
