Re: Sneaking peak into Organisation of the Body

Have you done research? Usually that's after ethics..... OOB isn't too bad. It's bio. Lots of little TAQs and your biggest challenge will be getting information into the word counts. Just use correct terminology / facts are facts and use diagrams throught bio and it'll be fine. Are you part of the o...

Re: TAQ 1 Writing for Meaning

Do things like mind maps and drafts. Essays don't magically appear and can take a few days to get points down. Look on google at how essays are formatted. Realistically a beginning where your explaining, a middle where the meat of the subject is and an end where you summarise it all. Don't forget to...

Re: Induction

The induction you'll find on the website in the dlc handbook. It's about 15 questions you do prior to starting. Shouldn't take too long tbh.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Yes you can. I completed the access to midwifery course this April and my prior history was minimal. I passed with 42 level 3 credits at distinction so it's possible.

Re: ILP

Hi and welcome.

You do your ILP at the start, middle and end lol. You keep it updated yourself regularly and upload it tracking progress and keeping track of our own deadlines.

Re: Individual Learning Plan

Hi and welcome My 1st ILP was based on 3 credits every month. The ILp isn't set in stone and good job too as I rarely met targets. In the early days I was ahead of schedule and then as life changed / modules got harder, it took longer so my ILP changed. I keep mine updated regularly and try to meet ...

Re: HELP????!!!!!

Hi - Unfortunelty it is against the DLC guidelines for any student to pass on any passwords to another student. Sorry. I am not sure if any DLC staff will be working during the holidays so unfortunetly it might be a case of having a extended break and be ready to request the passwords asap once the ...

Re: Practical report / frequency chart????

I found I had tons I wanted to keep but couldn't cause of the word count. Use the appendix to put anything relevant which could be moved. It's fab cause you still retain the info but it's not included in the word count.

Re: Recommended books

I use Derrickson and Tortora principles of anatomy and physiology. I bought mine but you can borrow from a local library. Tbh a lot of websites probably will help but because you don't understand it straight away it all looks like jargon. I research first. Look at places with title such as dummies g...
