Unit Accreditation & Short Course Fees
Short Course
Prices as below in 'Part of an Access Diploma', except that you do not need to pay the Registration Fee.
Partial Diploma (Unit Accreditation)
Some students only wish to complete part of an Access Diploma, it may be that the University requires you have additional qualifications in a particular subject area you do not already have (most commonly Biology).
The regular fee for Unit Accreditation is £66.00 per month or £13.20 per Credit, whichever is greater.
For example, if you wish to achieve 12 Credits:
- If you complete in 2 months, you would have paid £66.00 * 2 = £132.00 and would then owe a further £26.40 plus the £100 Registration Fee.
- If you complete in 3 months, you would have paid £66.00 * 3 = £198.00 and would have no further fees to pay apart from the £100 Registration Fee.
Additional Credits
Sometimes Universities require additional Credits beyond those within your Access Diploma.
The regular fee for Unit Accreditation is £66.00 per month or £13.20 per Credit, whichever is greater.
For example, if you wished to achieve an Access Diploma plus 12 Credits:
- If you complete your Diploma and Additional Credits in less than 12 months, you would have paid £792.00 for the Diploma and would then owe a further £158.40 for the Additional Credits, plus the £100 Registration Fee.
- If you complete your Diploma and Additional Credits in 14 months, you would have paid £792.00 for the Diploma plus £60.00 * 2 = £120.00 in Extension Monthly Tuition Fees and would then owe a further £32.40 for the Additional Credits, plus the £100 Registration Fee.
- If you complete your Diploma and Additional Credits in 15 months, you would have paid £792.00 for the Diploma plus £60.00 * 3 = £180.00 in Extension Monthly Tuition Fees and would then have no further fees to pay for the Additional Credits, apart from the £100 Registration Fee.
